Terms and Conditions of Mian Studio

By registering for any program, workshop, or subscription with Mian Studio, the participant or their guardian agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions in full.
First: General provisions (apply to all programs, workshops and subscriptions)
1. Registration and booking: Registration is done in advance via the website mayanart.net or by direct contact with the studio, and attendance requires adherence to the specified times for each program.
2. Materials and Tools: The studio provides the necessary materials and tools for each program. Participants are responsible for using and maintaining these materials, and the participant or their family members are liable for the cost of any damage resulting from misuse.

4. Abuse and exclusion: The studio has the right to exclude any person, regardless of age or participation, from any program if they behave disrespectfully towards female employees, trainers, or participants, cause chaos in the place or with the equipment, or bully. The studio management will not hesitate to take appropriate action.
5. Legal accountability: Failure to respect the rules of the studio exposes the participant to legal accountability and exclusion, and forfeits his right to a refund of any amounts paid without any liability on the part of the studio.
6. Intellectual Property Rights: The studio retains intellectual property rights to all materials and educational curricula used in the programs, and they may not be used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
7. Ownership and Collection of Works: The artwork belongs to the participant and must be collected on time. The studio is not responsible for works collected more than one week after the program ends. Pottery pieces must be collected no later than three months after the program ends.
8. Photography and Publication: Photos and videos may be taken during the programs for promotional and marketing purposes, and by participating, the participant agrees to their use by the studio.
9. Personal Property: The studio is not responsible for the loss or damage of subscribers' personal property within the studio.
10. Force Majeure: The studio has the right to postpone or change the date of any program or workshop in the event of a circumstance beyond its control (such as technical malfunctions, emergencies, or force majeure), and the participant shall be given an alternative date without refund.
11. Minimum number of participants: The studio has the right to postpone any workshop to a later date if the minimum number of participants is not met.
12. Data Privacy: The company is committed to protecting the personal data of subscribers and using it for operational and communication purposes only, in accordance with the regulations in force in the Kingdom.
Second: Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. Cancellation before the scheduled date: To receive a full refund, the studio must be notified of the cancellation request 48 hours prior to the program start time. Cancellations made after this period are subject to a cancellation fee as per the studio's policy.
2. After attendance: The participant is not entitled to a refund of any amounts paid after attendance, whether through the website, the network or in cash.
3. Change of activity: The amount is not refunded in the case of registration and then attendance, and the registrant may change the activity to an activity that is available at that time only at an equal or lower price.
4. Registration under the specified age: If a child is registered who is younger than the age specified in the advertisement, the amount paid will not be refunded.
5. Breach of Conditions: The studio has the right to cancel the subscription while retaining the cancellation fees in the event of breach of any of the booking conditions.
Third: Special provisions for children's programs and workshops
1. Accompaniment: Children under 5 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and the fee for the accompanying adult to attend the child is 30 riyals.
2. Health and Behavioral Disclosure: Parents must disclose any medical or behavioral condition or diagnosis concerning the child and any special needs. The office is not responsible for dealing with these needs without prior notification.
3. Allergies: Parents should disclose any allergies the child may have to substances or foods.
4. Appointments and Pick-up: Parents must adhere to the arrival and departure times and the handing over and picking up of children from inside the studio. The child shall not leave the studio door except with the parent who brought him.
5. Late Collection: If the parent is late for the collection appointment, the child will remain under the supervision of the art studio until their arrival, and additional supervision fees may be applied.
6. Responsibility: The parent is responsible for admitting and receiving the child, and for the value of any damage he causes to the studio's contents.
7. Photography: Photos may be taken during the programs for promotional purposes. Parents wishing to exempt their child from publication must inform the studio in writing before the program begins.
Fourth: Special provisions for pottery programs and activities
1. Prior booking: Booking pottery workshops requires prior registration via the website.
2. Postponement in case of non-attendance: In case of non-attendance, the participant must inform the administration within a week to postpone attendance once, after which the registration will be cancelled and the amount will not be refunded.
3. Color selection: The participant is allowed to choose only 3 colors from the specified set, to ensure the best result after burning.
4. Responsibility for pieces: The studio is not responsible for any pottery pieces that are damaged or broken after the coloring or firing stage due to negligence in finishing or weakness in shaping by the participant.
5. Following instructions: The participant must follow the instructions of the trainer and supervisor and the policies of the venue. In case of non-compliance, he is not entitled to claim any financial compensation or refund of the fees paid.
6. Collection period: The pottery pieces will be collected no later than 3 months after the end of the program.
7. Delivery delays: The delivery of pottery pieces may be delayed for technical reasons beyond the studio's control. Customers should be patient. No refunds will be given after the completion of the experiment, whether it is shaping or coloring.
Fifth: Regulations for the summer art camp and weekly and monthly subscriptions
1. Duration: The subscription is for the Summer Art Camp from June 20 to August 22, 2026, and the days or subscription cannot be postponed beyond that.
2. Refund: Fees paid are neither refundable nor deferred except by attending on the same days for which they were registered.
3. People with special needs: The subscription is not intended for people with special needs, and parents must disclose any medical or behavioral condition or diagnosis pertaining to the child.
4. Allergies and Timetables: The provisions regarding allergy disclosure and adherence to attendance and departure times set out in the Children’s Programs section apply.
5. Age and Change: The provisions for registration below the specified age and change of activity contained in the Cancellation and Refund Policy apply.
Sixth: Rules of the place (art studio etiquette)
1. We leave the place better than we found it.
2. Each participant is responsible for the cleanliness of their space, cleaning their tools, and returning them to their designated place.
3. The artwork belongs to the participant, who must take it and not leave it, as the studio is not responsible for damage to abandoned works.
4. Requesting to go to the bathroom requires permission (for children).
5. Touching artworks or any studio-related possessions, including tools, materials, or displayed works, is prohibited.
6. No materials should be used without the knowledge of the trainer or supervisor.
7. Others can be helped if they ask for help.
8. During the break in the middle of the workshop, everyone must stay in their place (for children).
9. No subscriber has the right to tamper with the store's equipment, and he or his relatives shall bear the cost of any damage.
10. The child shall not leave the studio door except with his guardian who brought him.
11. The studio, workshop, and art supply store is open to everyone—families and individuals—with a transparent storefront facing the street. If a customer wishes to wear an abaya, she may bring a special lab coat; wearing an abaya without a full face covering is prohibited.
